Our Training
Our team consists of professional and balanced dog trainers servicing Granite Bay, Folsom, and all of Northern CA. We also offer courier services to those who wish to use our services but traveling is difficult. Our trainers are well educated and reputable. Each have extensive experience working with a wide variety of dogs in all areas ranging from puppy manners and obedience to competition and serious behavior modification. They have had the privilege of not only teaching, but competing nationally and internationally. Our trainers have a unique ability to quickly adapt to any dog in front of them and communicate clearly to create balanced relationships. Every training approach is directly tailored to each person and their dog. Methods of training vary and is dependent upon the abilities, comfort, and necessities of each handler and their dog. We strive to give you the tools and education needed to have a successful future with your canine companion in all venues, and we like to have fun doing it.

Puppy Training
Boot Camp for Your New Addition
Get your puppy off to the right start with a specialized fundamentals package. We cover introduction to crate/potty training, jumping, nipping, leash walking, obedience foundation (sit, down, stay, come, place), socialization and more during their stay in the home of our trainers.
Basic Obedience Training
Fun and Effective
Does your dog lack basic manners or control? How would you like to have a well behaved dog not only in your home, but in public too? Well, we've got you covered. This 3 week board and train option covers loose leash walking, sit, down, stay, come, place, proper greetings, leave it and more under mild to moderate distractions. Your canine partner will receive training inside the trainers home and out in the real world.
Intermediate Obedience Training
Unleash Your Dogs Potential
This is our most popular training program offered. Along with basic obedience and socialization, your dog will also learn a reliable off leash recall. We take the training outside of our facility and into to real world. No more worrying if your dog will return to you off leash.
Advanced Obedience Training
Balanced and Controlled
Step up your dogs training with off-leash control. During this intensive 5 week board and train course, we will not only train full on-leash obedience, but we will advance it to off-leash and proof under heavy distractions. You won't be disappointed!
Behavior Modification
Communication and Clarity
Here at Canine Balance, we specialize in behavior modification including dog aggression, human aggression, anxiety, OCD and more. We are fully equipped and experienced to handle even the most seemingly helpless cases. Allow us to help you and your dog build steps to a brighter future.

Going away for a while? We offer a safe alternative to typical kennels. You can rest assured that your canine companion is in the capable hands of experts; avoiding dangerous interactions with unknown dogs. We are also knowledgeable in general veterinary care so can certainly take dogs requiring medications or special needs.
Group Classes
NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
Our group classes are instructed by two experienced trainers, allowing for more individual attention. The class covers place, sit, down, stay, come, proper greetings and more. Come improve your communication and relationship with your dog in a fun and controlled environment.
